No. 13 Virginia Tech and No. 4 Stanford will meet in the 77th Discover Orange Bowl on Monday January 3, 2011 at Sun Life Stadium formerly known as Dolphin or Landshark Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The stadium overlooks the Calder Race Course. This will be Virginia Tech’s fourth Orange Bowl appearance while Stanford’s appearance will be the fourth by the Pac-10 making this match-up the first Bowl Championship Series game in Orange Bowl history between the two schools.
