The city of North Miami Parks and Recreation Department along with the Miami Stickball League host the 2009 Stickball World Series. (September 5th, 6th, and 7th)
Stickball has been a longstanding Sunday morning tradition on NE 8th Avenue in North Miami. Each year, the World Series Tournament is held in different cities and states. At this years tournament, the Miami Stickball League will host 15 teams, and an expected more than 500 people will be there to join in and enjoy the festivities. Located just minutes away from the historical “Stickball Boulevard”, our fabulous Sunny Isles Beach hotel offers a great place to start off the daily festivities with affordable accommodations and a delicious continental breakfast, or simply a place to relax and dine in the evenings after the tournament’s festivities.
