The Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean in the quiet upscale Sunny Isles neighborhood of Miami Beach with 400 feet of golden sandy beaches only a few minutes from fashionable Aventura Mall and The Bal Harbour Shoppes, and 30 minute drive to South Beach's Art Deco District. A Family and Pet friendly resort.
This Oceanfront resort has 250 spacious rooms most with balconies and kitchenettes and beautiful views of The Atlantic Ocean. We feature a heated oceanfront pool, kiddies' pool and a poolside fitness center equipped with a sauna and steam rooms.
Our resort was built in 1967 and has since been renovated to a non-smoking hotel. SMOKING ONLY PERMITTED IN ROOMS WITH BALCONIES.
In addition, a free Shuttle Service is available to Aventura Mall and the shops, restaurants, and cafes up and down Collins Avenue and goes to Publix and Winn Dixie grocery stores from 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily. The Miami Dade Public Transportation system also picks up right in front of the hotel on an hourly basis, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week and can take you to South Beach's Art Deco District…. at only $ 2.00 per person each way. Think of it like a $ 2.00 City Tour. Many of the busses are the new hybrid fully air-conditioned coaches. The ride to South Beach is normally 45 minutes to 1 hour. It is only 25 - 30 minutes by car depending on traffic.
Leave your car at home and save the daily valet parking fee of $ 18.00 per day. Again, we are the lowest valet parking price on the beach with unlimited in and out privileges.
The Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort is easily accessible from Miami International Airport, Ft. Lauderdale Airport and Port Everglades Cruise Port. Please NOTE: Shuttle is Not Operated By The Hotel from Miami International airport and cruise port and a FEE Applies.
Other attractions near The Ramada Marco Polo Beach Resort include South Beach, American Airlines Arena, Port of Miami, Miami Beach Convention center, Miami Performing Arts Center and The Sun Life Stadium. Casino Gaming is available at the Village of Gulfstream Horse racing track and Mardi Gras Casino.
The Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort welcomes pets (25lbs Max cats and dogs only) with a 100.00 deposit however, 50.00 is refundable upon check out. Please note that the City of Sunny Isles does not permit any pets on the beach.
The Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort has completed 60 % of the room renovations in 2010. The remainder of the room renovations started in May 2011 and will be completed by December 2011. As we are in our low season…please ask for a renovated room when making reservations for your clients.
