Oleta River State Park

In 1841, the river was called Big Snake Creek and was part of the route used by federal troops in the Second Seminole War. Now called the largest urban park in Florida, the Oleta River State Park has 14 miles for various activities such as:

Haulover Beach Park

This is one of the most exotic parks in Miami as it is famous for its nudist beach “Haulover Naturist Beach”. It’s about 1.5 miles long and is characterized by clear waters and white sand. You can enjoy activities such as:

Kite flying: In the park, there is a recreational area where you can bring your kite or buy one and fly it while enjoying an ice cream at the kite store. Every year the Kite Festival is celebrated with live music, food trucks, and a variety of interesting kites from small snakes to big whales.

Hollywood Beach

Hollywood Beach is one of the most fun beaches in the area, is located 3.8 miles from Sunny Isles Beach, and has a wide variety of activities to do including dining experiences, live entertainment, and more. Here are some of the things you can do:

Hollywood Beach Boardwalk: with over 50 restaurants, 30 stores, and 3 parks overlooking the ocean, this is one of the favorite places to enjoy the sunset accompanied by a delicious piña colada. The Hollywood Broadwalk has a gastronomic variety in which Argentinean and Italian food and much more stand out.

You can also rent or take your bike and enjoy the ride while watching the ocean, and for the more adventurous there is a Flowrider where you can also surf jet skis.
